If you are a civilian working in a non-law enforcement entity and are looking to obtain individual commercial certification in property and evidence, then this program is for you.

REQUIREMENTS:

STEP 1

Applicant must have 2080 hours (equivalent one year) experience working in a property room unit (experience hours from prior employment can be included)

STEP 2

Must be a current IAPE member at time of application.

STEP 3

DUES PAYMENT REQUIREMENT ONCE CERTIFIED – To retain the  CCPES designation, annual IAPE membership dues must be paid.

STEP 4

Completion of IAPE’s Property and Evidence Management Training Class (Note: Either the live class or the Complete (Full) online, video class).

STEP 5

Applicant must pass a fifty (50) question, multiple- choice exam that is based upon the IAPE Professional Standards. Passing grade is 75%
